Manuel Pereira was involved in some disruptive projects in Portugal and, within the scope of his professional activity, he assumes himself as a social and cultural dynamizer.

In this “Questions and Answers” session, we will have the opportunity to understand how smart cities or smart cities cannot just rely on technology for local development. Creativity and the attraction of social and cultural agents are central to the dynamism of local communities.

Manuel Pereira, graduated in Anthropology, collaborated in Portugal with a series of NGOs and public and private entities, with his services in territorial marketing, cultural production, urban planning, social innovation, and project management.
