Bruno Moura Ferreira

Project Manager, Marketing & Communication

With degrees in Management, Communication and Multimedia, he specialized in Project Management, Marketing and Communication and ventured into the business world over more than 15 years of career.

Between 2013 and 2014, he was selected as a young consultant to the European Commission for the Digital Agenda, one of the seven emblematic initiatives of the Europe 2020 Strategy adopted by the Commission. He was part of a team of young consultants from Neelie Kroes, Vice-President of the European Commission and responsible for the Digital Agenda.

In 2013, he actively participated in the creation of EU Code Week, an initiative supported by the European Commission that aims to promote basic coding skills and digital training for all in a fun and engaging way. Currently, he is the Portuguese Ambassador of EU Code Week, that since 2013 encouraged the realization of more than 100,000 events, in more than 70 countries, inside and outside Europe, providing millions of people with the contact with the coding.

Between 2015 and 2016, he was invited to be Portuguese Ambassador of “eSkills for Jobs”, an initiative of the European Commission that falls within the scope of the Grand Coalition for Digital Jobs, under the international coordination of DIGITALEUROPE and European Schoolnet. The national coordinating entity is the Foundation for Science and Technology, whose main objective is to raise awareness among citizens about the opportunity that Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) represent in terms of employability.

In 2017, he founded Comuniteia – Agency of Marketing and Communication.

In 2019, he was invited to be the Portuguese National Coordinator of the “European Robotics Week”, a European initiative that aims to bring research and development in robotics closer, thus contributing to the construction and improvement of the society of the future.

In 2020, he accepted the challenge of taking on Project Management at the “Tomorrow Summit”, a technological event that aims to discuss “tomorrow”.

Throughout his professional activity, he has worked in project management, marketing and communication. He is a consultant, trainer and speaker in several areas, with emphasis on marketing, communication, technology, digital societies, territory development, tourism, youth, education, entrepreneurship and mobility.
